How SAPS works: The Swedish Aviation Photographers Society is not a registered organisation and (for the time being) does not aim to be an official group based on membership. The society exists of active, enthusiastic contributors whom are being recruited on a (self)invitation or reputation base. To be part of SAPS requires first of all to be interested in aviation AND photography and secondly to be an active aviation photographer. Experience and background are not among our requirements; we are together to learn from each other! However, it is highly appreciated if your pictures are of high quality and promote a creative perspective of aviation photography, reflecting the goals of SAPS. We do not charge a membership fee, but ask our contributors to pay a small yearly donation, in order to be able to promote our selves as a cohesive group. The collected fee will be used solely for SAPS representation, administration and marketing purposes. In return our official contributors will be first in row to receive access to exclusive SAPS-events and will get a representation package including SAPS-badges and stickers. Furthermore, official contributors will of course receive the obligation to be representable for SAPS, deliver photos and join the fun of sharing knowledge about aviation photography! :) |
